In May, Rachelle Bussières will present her work alongside that of Karine Demers at Future Fair New York, marking Galerie Robertson Arès’s first participation in the fair. To highlight this occasion, Bussières took part in a Q&A with Future Fair, offering insight into her practice.

"Galerie Robertson Arès (Montreal, Canada) presents Rachelle Bussières, a French-Canadian artist based in New York, working at the intersection of photography and sculpture. Her practice explores human perception, time, and the construction of knowledge. Inspired by childhood memories of the wilderness in northeastern Québec and years spent living off the grid in northern California, she investigates how natural processes shape human experience and collective consciousness of the environment, sky, and cosmos."
